11:08 am - Fourth post.

Brenda was again stuck sitting between Linda and Malcom. She hated being the last person picked up, therefore getting the “privilege” to sit on the hump. Brenda buttoned one more button on her shirt and attempted to zone out Linda’s ramblings by compiling a mental to-do list. Top on that list was a call to building management about those idiot neighbors downstairs. Next was grocery shopping, which involved a bus ride home. No hump on that trip, but it did mean some strange and often shady characters. Oh well, she would just have to sit near the driver if at all possible.

5:57 am - Third post
mcbabie Bandaging up her foot and doing her business in the bathroom, Brenda headed to the kitchen for some breakfast. Rummaging through the cupboards--nothing. Brenda was in the habbit of forgetting to buy anything once she ran out. No time for shopping now, though; the carpool would be here any minute. Oh how she hated her carpool. Max with his loud gum chewing, Linda with those boring stories about how cute her own kids are, Malcom always trying to look down her shirt, and Wendy, the big, dumb airh--Beep beep! Oh no, time to go! Grabbing a lone cereal bar and tripping out the front door. Here we go again.

Brenda looked down and groaned. Her idiot neighbors had nailed something to the ceiling again, with another one of those monster nails! Where did they find these things? The railroad spike surplus store? Good thing her tetanus shot was up to date, no thanks to the last time they nailed a tire swing to the ceiling. Brenda disloged her heel from the nail, and hobbled off to the bathroom in search of some Band-Aids.

Brenda struggled to open her eyes Friday morning, hoping the day would go by quickly. She wanted the weekend to come already.
But as she shifted her feet to the floor, she felt something sharp pierce her heel.
